Health and Vaccine Information

Vaccine information

The Iowa Department of Public Health is coordinating the COVID-19 vaccine distribution effort in Iowa. The vaccine supply in Iowa is very limited. As more vaccines become available from the CDC, more individuals and groups will be offered a vaccination. To help balance vaccine supply with demand, IDPH has implemented a tiered prioritization, outlined here.

IDPH has launched a website you can access here where Iowans can find information on vaccine providers in their area. They have also provided a tool for Iowans to find vaccine providers in their specific counties. Click here to find current vaccine providers in Marshall County and information regarding appointments.

If you have general questions about the vaccine or need assistance scheduling an appointment, call 211.  Resource specialists are available 24 hours a day to answer basic questions. Check with your health care provider with questions specific to your health situation.
