Pokemon League

Pokemon League is for fans of the trading card game. Players bring their own cards and “battle” in an informal league setting, facilitated by volunteers. Volunteers may help players learn to play, as time permits. Players do not lose cards if they lose the battle and may earn new cards and badges through participation. Crochet Club is for kids ages 10 and up to learn the basics of crochet and build skills in a casual, friendly environment. Hook and yarn provided, or bring your own if you’d like. Small Talk Graduation

Small Talk is an award-winning series of free classes for parents of babies ages birth to 30 months, in which you’ll learn simple strategies to talk, read, and sing more with your baby. This research-based program by LENA Start has great short term and long term benefits. Kids Cop Connection

  Cards, coloring, conversation...but NO coffee! Youth are invited to stop by the cafe (enter from the Youth Department side) to have a snack, use art supplies, play cards or giant Connect Four, and have a chance to get to know an MPD police officer a little better. Free, no sign-up needed.

Storytime: Rain
