Family Fun on the Library Lawn

Storytime and other activities are planned on Wednesdays in September and October for families on the library’s West Lawn. Stories, songs, fingerplays and activities for many ages. These programs are free, and do not require pre-registration. Families are encouraged to bring a blanket or something to sit on. In case of weather issues, we’ll move into the large meeting room (floor seating, masks required for those 3 and older for indoor group programs as long as CDC advises). All are welcome. Attendance can earn Stork’s Nest points. For more information, give us a call at 641-754-5738, ext. 3.

Themes coming up include: School Stories, September 1. Animal Rescue League visits + dog stories, September 8. Ducks & Geese, September 15. Good Friends with a take-home craft, September 22. Dragon Tales, September 29. Music with Miss Christine: October 6. Storytime + ARL Visit, October 13. Halloween-y Stories, October 20. Also, note that the Trick or Treat Costume Parade will take place outside, starting on the West Lawn at 10:30 on Wednesday, October 27, weather permitting (rain date: Thursday, October 28.)
